Overview

Once the cruise departs from Aker Brygge, you will immediately enjoy panoramic views as you sail past iconic landmarks including the Akerhus fortress. See the charming and colourful houses that line the shore of Nesodden, and enjoy idyllic surroundings as you pass the islands. During the tour, the cruise will also lower a drone so you can admire the world that exists below the fjords! As you pass Dyna Fyr, you will admire some of Oslo's most important cultural institutions, including the Opera House, National Museum and Munch Museum. You will have the opportunity to disembark the boat at Bygdoy Island, if you wish to independently explore the museums that live here, or continue back to Aker Brygge.

After the cruise, you will have some free-time to explore the city at your leisure, before meeting the tour guide at the University Aula for your walking tour. During this guided tour, hear fascinating stories about the Vikings and Oslo's rich maritime heritage, as you wander past major attractions like Norwegian Parliament, City Hall and Havnepromenade. Learn how this Scandinavian city gained its nickname "Tiger City" and why Oslo hosts the Nobel Peace Prize every year. This 2-hour walking tour is the perfect introduction to Norway's capital city and ensures that you see the most important sights!
